A few blue contenders for the ACC

Two Democrats running to unseat Republican Corporation Commissioners took aim at the commission Wednesday, saying regulators are “asleep at the wheel” instead of protecting ratepayers.
Clara Pratte and Jonathon Hill are hoping to defeat incumbent Commissioners Kevin Thompson and Nick Myers in next year’s race for two seats on the commission. Thompson and Myers are also facing primary challenges from Republican Reps. Ralph Heap and David Marshall.
